Match on action shot: A shot which changes the perspective of the camera angle (the angle changes) however the shot still continues to flow. It doesn't cut from different scenes.

Shot-reverse-shot: this technique is used when there are more than one characters and is normally used to show a conversation. It shows the 'look back' from the character who is listening to the character who is speaking.
180-degree rule: where the camera is not allowed to go past the 180-degree boundary (half a circle). If a camera man does do this, it can sometimes lead to the audience feeling disorientated as well as the characters looking as though they have changed seats.
