Rough Cut

13th February 2015

Katie and I did the majority of editing on the rough cut because Tommy was absent due to being ill. Piecing the different clips together was the first plan of action and took up the majority of our time. Putting the different clips in the correct place took a lot of patience and precision because we wanted it to look seamless without any continuity errors. Similarly, cutting the clips to the right size was quite tenuous because if it was even 0.01 of a second out, it would miss vital parts of the clip; especially if the clip was quite small to begin with. Also, if the clip had to be moved, then it would have to be stretched back out to its original size to then be re-worked. So for the editing process, the cutting of the individual clips was defintely the most time consuming and frustrating because if it went wrong or wouldn't cut, then Katie and I had to find a new way to discard the unnecessary sections. The editing process overall was quite time-consuming because if it was not perfect, then Katie and I were adament to change it anyway we could.
